Katrina Tarkowski, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

It can be hard to reach out for help, and I know that it has taken courage to make this step. I believe psychotherapy can help you resolve issues and  become unstuck. I work with individuals and couples who are experiencing life’s struggles and will support you with effective, evidence based tools and coping techniques to support your journey to a more fulfilling life. I am committed to creating a space that is safe for individuals of all genders, ages, races, and cultures.

My practice is focused on supporting those dealing with anxiety, depression, stress,  low self-esteem, and relationship challenges. I approach treatment from a collaborative, empathetic and judgement free perspective. I take an integrative approach and will work with you to customize treatment to your individual needs drawing on Person-Centred and Solution-Focused Therapies. At this time I am providing treatment online and in-person.

I have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University and am a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).  I am supervised by Alice Lurie, RP.
