Supporting individuals in their path back to Self
Hi, I’m Michelle, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), supporting individuals 17+ in Ottawa and across Ontario who are looking to explore authentic growth and healing.
I help clients move through a range of challenges, including:
- Anxiety and depression: Explore the root cause and meaning of such inner callings with a somatic and mindful approach, to return to feeling more ease and hope.
- Self-esteem and identity issues: Re-discover the authentic you through self-awareness and re-wire outdated or negative core beliefs.
- Relational issues and conflict: Unpack relationships among family, partners, friends and co-workers, looking at patterns and choices for new ways of being.
- Neurodivergent regulation: Build strength and confidence in maneuvering and thriving in the world with your unique cognitive, sensory and emotional abilities.
- Grief and loss: Hold space and presence for the complexities of non-linear grief that can be honoured and processed, at the right time and pace.
- Athletic or career performance: Explore being stagnant or “stuck” from traumatic experience, injuries and long-term beliefs to refocus, grow and flourish where you are.
To support this work, I draw from a variety of experiential and trauma-informed therapeutic approaches that move beyond traditional talk therapy to help you access your own innate wisdom and capacity for change:
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
- Internal Family Systems or parts work
- Brainspotting (Phase 3 practitioner)
- Polyvagal Theory
Healing within Courage and Connection
Building on self-awareness and your inner strengths, I tailor sessions and approaches based on your unique needs. I also welcome you to incorporate your cultural and belief systems in the work. Through building a safe and genuine connection, I am honoured to walk with clients through periods or moments of struggle, and towards strength and states of calm and confidence, and a path to greater consciousness.
